COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVERManufactured circa 1857, Matching numbers were observed on frame, trigger assembly, loading lever and wedge, cylinder does not match. The roll die stage coach scene is lightly visible. The octagon barrel has a strong Colt New York barrel address. Colt's patent is stamped on left side of frame. Standard features include brass straps, one-piece walnut grips, five-shot, single action. CONDITION: Fair , overall faded to a gray patina, action needs attention. It rotates in time, but it does not hold half or full. cock. the leather holster is period correct in fair condition, shoulder strap is dried and separated in the middle.
