Reproduction Colonial American English Flintlock Trade Gun, .60 cal smoothbore, mfg. circa 2000's. This is a fully functional firing reproduction of a classic English trade gun manufactured during the early/mid 1700's for use in the colonies and trade among Native Americans. The barrel measures 37" long fitted with a lug style front sight. Brown Bess style lock is marked “WILSON”. The metal is finished in armory bright “white” with some superfine oxidation staining scattered throughout. It could certainly be polished clean again if desired.
Leather hammer stall included. The bore is basically mirror bright. . If it was fired it saw very limited use. The gun has a really great look and feel and would be awesome for frontier mountain man events, French & Indian War reenacting, or just fun blackpowder shooting!
