Gonna be honest with you guys, this one is well out of my wheelhouse. I picked this up awhile ago from a private collection of fine German rifles and pistols because I just love the way they are hand made by skilled Craftsman. Internet research tells me this was a early 20th century competition target pistol made by E.F. Buchel a German Gunsmith. Tell pistols earned a prestige in competition shooting reportedly winning the World Championships in 1911,1912, and 1913. It is a falling block design with a 14" fluted barrel, and case colored receiver. They are known for being meticulously crafted, engraved, and extremely accurate. The pistol has held up unbelievably well for it's age and seems to be all there. Couldn't find a serial number but know it has to be there somewhere. I make it a point to never disassemble my guns so it may be on the underside of the barrel somewhere. Bore is very shootable and the falling block action and trigger work to perfection.
