5 -shot, solid-frame, nickel-finished revolver with a 2.5 barrel. Very nice bore with very light spot pitting, Original grips are scratch numbered to the gun and in very good condition with a crack repair done to the right grip. serial # 19768. indicates this pistol likely belongs to the mid- to late-1880s era of Forehand & Wadsworth production. The use of the F&W name rather than Forehand Arms indicates manufacture before 1890. Original nickel finish is in good condition for it's age showing light scratches and minor wear , Mechanically appears to work in single and double action.
