In fine antique condition, we are offering this SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1, 3rd Change revolver produced i the late 1860's -1870's. It is a 7 shot tip up model chambered in 22 short, with a spur trigger, and bird head rose wood grips. The action works poroperly with good timing and lock up and a good bore with strong rifling. The grips are in fine condition with much original finish and no chips or cracks. The markings on the barrel rib are clear and readable. The metal is smooth with a mixed blue / patina finish. Overall a pretty nice example. Being around 150 years old.
