Antique W&H Bard Double Barrel 8 gauge blackpowder percussion shotgun. Made in England circa 1840S. 34” barrels with solid rib. Double tiggers and hammers. Factory engraved lock plates and hammers. Blued finishes. Wood has been lightly sanded/oiled. Checkered wrist. But plate is undersized, possible replacement. Wooden ramrod is present. CONDITION: Metal is a mixed patina throughout. Some cleaned surface rust on the barrels. Wood has wear and handling marks.
Bores have light surface rust. No real visible pitting. Hammers are tight and working. Antique
