Cool old Belgian Webley Bull Dog style .44 “Frontier Bulldog” Double Action revolver. Pre-1893 ELG without crown proof mark on rear of cylinder. Great original hard rubber grip panels. Dark poor bore. Most of the original nickel exterior finish still present. Ejector rod head is missing as shown. Internal springs are also apparently absent and the gun is currently non-functional. However, if it is pointed at the floor and the trigger is manually pushed forward, it does seem to be in proper working order so might be simple to cure. During the “old west” or “cowboy era” these were a popular economical alternative to the more expensive S&W Schofield / American, Frontier, Colt 1873 Single Action Army, Remington 1875, Merwini Hulbert, etc. Should make for a great display in a collection featuring arms of the 19th century frontier. Antique, so no licence required as long as you are not in a jurisdiction which prohibits direct shipping of pre-1899 arms to unlicensed collectors.
