Belgian "Guardian American" 7mm pinfire revolver

This is a Belgian 7mm pinfire revolver. This Lefaucheux-Type Pinfire Revolver has "The Guardian American Model 1878" and the Belgian ELG Liège proof mark on the cylinder. It features a 3” octagonal barrel, a six-shot cylinder, wood grips, folding trigger, and fixed front iron sight. The revolver is complete and appears to function normally. The bore shows good rifling but is dark. The timing is slightly off but operates in both single and double action. The bore shows some corrosion but has visible lands. An excellent little revolver.
