For sale is an original E. Remington & Sons Smoot 3rd Model Revolver, chambered in .38 Rimfire, and manufactured circa 1878-1888.
This beautiful pocket revolver features an octagonal barrel and nickel finish with excellent original Remington grips, showcasing the craftsmanship of Remington's late 19th-century handgun production. The Remington rollmark on the top of the barrel is still sharp and easily readable.
The revolver is in excellent condition, with intact shiny nickel finish overall and only the slightest wear on the high points on the grips making it a great piece for collectors.
The firing pin is still nice and sharp and the bore is bright with good rifling and the cylinder is also very clean. All of these details can be confirmed in the pictures.
The action functions properly as well.
This is a great addition for collectors of antique Remington revolvers, Old West-era firearms, or early metallic cartridge handguns.
As an antique firearm, it qualifies for sale/shipping where legally allowed with no licence required.
