Up for sale is a truly exceptional Remington Model 1871 US Army marked Rolling Block single shot pistol chambered in 50 CF. Barrel is 8" with an excellent, bright strong bore featuring sharp rifling. Metal surfaces are blued and case colored retaining about 97% lightly faded but original finish.
Left side of the pistol grip has a strongly struck and clear “CSR” cartouche. Grips and forend retains strong finish with some ligth scattered dings and marks. Crisp mechanics and hands down the nicest M1871 pistol we've ever offered. From the Scott Meadows collection. ANTIQUE, no licence is needed.
