The German-made Chilean 1895 Bolt Action Rifle, chambered in 7x57mm Mauser and featuring a 28-inch barrel, is a historically significant firearm known for its strength, reliability, and advanced design for its time. Manufactured by Ludwig Loewe & Company and later by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) in Germany for the Chilean military, this rifle is based on the Mauser Model 1895 design.
This Chilean Mauser Bayonet And Scabbard is a unique piece of militaria from Germany. There is some minor rust and pitting on the handle as shown The bayonet and scabbard are in good condition Dimensions are: Blade - 9 1/4 in. Bayonet sheathed - 15 1/2 x 3 x 1 in.
