proud to present a magnificent John Adams Master Engraved Colt "Blackpowder Series" set featuring a Colt 1851 Navy and a Colt 1860 Army, built in the late 1970s to early 1980s. The 1851 Navy is .36 caliber with a 7.5" octagon barrel and a satin black nickel antique-style finish. The 1860 Army is .44 caliber with an 8" round barrel and a polished black nickel antique-style finish. Both revolvers are fitted with beautiful matching one-piece custom wood grips featuring sterling silver eagle and horse head inlays.

Each revolver is masterfully hand engraved by John Adams Engraving, with the 1860 Army signed "J. Adams" and the 1851 Navy unsigned. The set comes complete with a deluxe double-fitted display case, a photocopy of the Adams & Adams advertising/price sheet, and an original John Adams Jr. yellow receipt slip (faded and illegible).

Both revolvers remain in pristine, unfired collector-grade condition. A true centerpiece for any Colt or fine engraving collection, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and artistry from one of America’s most respected engraving families.
