Maynard 1859 Carbine .50 2ND Model Civil War Issue

Civil War Issue Maynard Model 1859 .50 Carbine 2nd. Model. The 20" barrel has an excellent, bright, shiny bore. The action is tight and smooth and everything mechanical looks good to go. The wood fits tightly and looks great with some light scratches but no splits or cracks. The metal surfaces show some light freckling and retain maybe 85% finish. The only pitting I see is a small place at the heel of the butt plate.
Serial number is (14557).This is a fine example of one of the favorite small arms of troops on both sides of the conflict. I see that brass cases and lead bullets are available for this gun so it should be an excellent shooter as well as being highly collectable.
