Good condition original antique Needham metallic cartridge conversion US Model 1861 Springfield Rifle Musket in .58 centerfire caliber. The extractor was removed and the firing pin broken, otherwise works fine. Lock is marked “U.S. / BRIDESBURG” with the American eagle. Metal finish is original “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has been sanded and has nice even color. Complete with correct original ramrod. A hard to find Needham conversion for your collection.
