The Iver Johnson “DEFENDER” Revolver . They were marked with several different Brand names. Only produced 1873-1888. 7 Shot large frame in .22RF. with a 2 ¼” barrel
Barrel: The revolver is equipped with a 2 ¼ ” round barrel, The bore is good with minor pinprick pitting from blackpowder use indicating minimal wear and showing strong rifling.
Finish: The revolver retains most of its original nickel finish with a minor scratching freckling, and handling marks. This is very minimal and does not detract significantly from the revolver's overall condition.
Markings on the barrel are clear and legible
Grips: The original walnut grips are in excellent condition.
The action of the revolver functions well mechanically .
