Antique Plant's Mfg. Co. Front Loading Army Revolver, Second Model, Rounded Iron Frame, .42 Caliber cup-primed cartridge, 6 shot, Serial No. 604. Comes with Ivory or Bone grips. 6" solid ribbed barrel, mechanically very good . Iron shows a brown/silver age patina, some light pitting. Barrel marked, “PLANT'S MFG. CO. NE2W HAVEN CT.” Left side of frame stamped, “MERWIN & BRAY”, Cylinder marked, “PATENTED JULY 12,1859 & JULY 21, 1863”.
