Scarce Antique Steyr Model 1886 Kropatschek bolt action short rifle in 8X56MMR Portuguese Kropatschek. Made 1886 at Steyr Austria for the Portuguese’s military. Matching serials on the frame and barrel.
26” barrel with blade front and rear ladder. Arsenal blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes attached metal clearing rod and brown leather sling. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, having mixed wear and brown patina. Wood has handling marks, scrapes and scratches. Bore has some light frosting, with very good overall rifling.
