Schmidt-Rubin Model 1889 rifle, Antique

Swiss 1889 bolt action antique rifle in 7.5×53.5 caliber (not 7.5×55!). This is a pre-1899 mfg rifle so it is not a firearm and does not require an FFL. Features the famous Switzerland Waffenfabrik Bern Schmidt-Rubin design with straight-pull action, a 30? free-float barrel, very good bore, nice blued finish with some edge wear and possible light patina or freckles, and long range elevating rear sight. Has a detachable 12rd magazine with mag-cutoff for single shot fire. No import mark. Stock is solid, shows the typical dents and scratches especially on buttstock and plate as seen on Swiss rifles. Still has cosmoline.
