Though much of the original nickel finish has worn away, this revolver retains good mechanical function, clear markings, and the classic profile that made these guns so popular. The bore, while showing age and fouling, still has visible rifling and would clean up further with attention. The action functions correctly. The barrel locks up securely, the hammer holds at full cock, and the ejector mechanism operates as intended.

The bore is semi-bright with visible rifling. There is stubborn fouling and areas of wear along the lands and grooves.
