1878 Trapdoor rifle. Overall in good to very good condition. Bore is bright and shiny, strong rifling with a few dark or rough patches,. Cartouche appears to be 1884. Has split on left of stock at muzzle. Shows normal wear and handling. Has been re-blued with some pitting showing through.
