Foehl &?Weeks “Perfect” hammerless top-break revolver, Auto ejecting, in .38 S&W , a pretty rare piece from the late 19th century.
The firearm was produced by the Foehl &?Weeks Firearms Manufacturing Company, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Charles G. W. Foehl and Charles A. Weeks formed the company around 1888-89, despite incorporating it in New Jersey. Initially, it was marked with the 1889 patent. Later models, designated "Perfect," used the improved 1891 patent.
It features a hammerless, double-action mechanism with a grip safety—early versions had the grip safety at the butt, later simplified designs moved it behind the trigger guard
