Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine - 38 WCF

An old “as found” model 1873 saddle ring carbine. Most all Winchester model 1873 carbines saw heavy use and this old ranch gun is no exception. This is a salty old well used carbine. This example has not been overly cleaned and is in a fairly nice state of preservation. It also has a nice action that is fairly tight yet. A 3rd model made in 1890. Chambered in .the rather scarce for a carbine 38-40, 20" round barrel, full magazine. The entire gun is a deep uncleaned original patina. Has numerous dings/dents as shown. The stocks are uncleaned, solid. As shown. Worn, dirty, frosty bore - needs cleaned. Ships fully insured and will be packaged very well.
