Excellent little c.1880s Hopkins & Allen .32 double action pocket revolver with folding hammer spur. This example survives in outstanding condition – timing and lockup are great in both single and double action. Bore is bright and sharp with a few small freckles here and there. Original grips are sound. Assembly number “5270” is present on latch, cylinder, ejector, right grip panel, and left grip frame under grip. Don't see any numbers on the barrel. Most of these “backup” revolvers from the 19th century were used hard and neglected long after, and this one is a really fine survivor. Would be a great addition to a “cowboy era” or “old west” collection alongside your .44 S&W Frontier, Schofield, Merwin Hulbert, etc. Antique, so no licence required as long as you are not in a jurisdiction which prohibits direct shipping of pre-1899 arms to unlicensed collectors.
