This pistol is a replica of the Colt 1860 Army in both form and function. The original Model 1860 revolver was rolled out just before the American Civil War broke out and would see service throughout the conflict, mostly by Union Forces (Colt’s factory was located far from the Mason-Dixon Line, all the way in Connecticut). Following the war, the revolver continued to see limited use before being made obsolete by cartridge-firing handguns. This Armi San Marco revolver is in Fine to Fine Plus condition, with a nice bore and a sound action. Replicas like this 1860 Army revolver can be used for reenactment purposes or shooting at the range and make a great addition to any firearms collection.
