This is a WWII German Mauser Model K98 bolt action rifle in 8mm Mauser. It is a Mitchell Mauser Premium Grade rifle. The receiver is stamped "DANZIG 1916". It has Nazi proof marks one the barrel, receiver, and floor plate. The finish is in good shape showing a few light handling marks. The stock is in good shape, no cracks or chips. The bore is shiny with good rifling. Serial number is 2**EE and matches on all visible parts. It comes with original Mitchell Mauser box and letter.
