Here’s a very nice, nearly new, Remington Model 660 rifle.
This rifle is chambered for the .308 Winchester and the internal magazine holds four cartridges. The walnut stock features a Monte Carlo butt with pressed checkering and contrasting grip cap and forend tip. Overall condition is excellent. The original blue finish rates 98-99% with almost no sign of use. The stock shows some small handling marks scattered about but no cracks, chips, or refinishing. The mechanics are in good working order and the bore is excellent. If it’s been shot at all, it certainly wasn’t much. According to the “W R”date code on the barrel, this handsome rifle was manufactured in August, 1968 during the first year of production. A very clean, all original example.
