This is a Remington model 722 bolt action rifle in 300 savage. It was manufactured in 1951. It is a blued gun with a 24" barrel. It is in good shape showing a few light handling marks but does appear to have been refinished at one point. The stock shows typical dings and surface scratches. It has original Remington metal butt plate with a 13.5" length of pull. The bore is shiny with good rifling. The serial number is 1586**.
