Winchester Model 54 Carbine, Bolt Action Rifle .30-30 Winchester

This is the carbine version with a 20” barrel, smooth pistol grip and grooved forend, chambered in .30-30 Win. This lightweight vintage rifle would be ideal for someone wanting a light saddle gun or a rifle to put in the rear window of their pickup when out in the field or on a mountain trail where they might run across a deer for the pot or a coyote bothering their livestock.
The bore is gray with heavy wear in the rifling. There is light erosion the length of the bore with spots of moderate erosion from the muzzle back several inches. Our bore gauge measures a ME of 3.6.
