Spencer Sporting Model 56-46

Very scarce Spencer Sporting Rifle in 56-46. Overall gun is in fine condition with a considerable amount of original barrel blue toneing somewhat. Case coloured receiver is also starting to tone.wood is in excellent condition with most original varnish and only a few mars and dings. Original front sight, folding Leaf spring-loaded rear sight and the original folding tang veneer rear sight (these are often missing) only about 1700 of these sporting rifles were manufactured and this is an excellent specimen of a scarce gun. It also has a very rare single set trigger a true piece of American History.
I have held this on my FAC and the rifle comes with original rimfire block and also modern centrefire block easily interchanged. Cases can be formed easily from 50-70 parent case and bullet of .457 if it is going to be shot.
