A true classic, here's a Pre-64 Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle. This is a variation known as the "flat band" because of the flat-sided upper barrel band that was in use around the WWII production period. Chambered for the .32 Winchester Special cartridge, this carbine wears a 20" barrel with iron sights. Overall condition is very good and the gun is all original with no added holes, repairs, or refinishing. The original blue finish rates about 85-90% overall with some thinning to the edges and underside of the receiver as well as a long scratch running along the right side. The front sight blade is missing the bead along the upper edge. The stock is sound, free of cracks or chips, but does show handling wear, dents and a few scratches. The mechanics are in good working order and the action is crisp. The bore is excellent with bright, sharp rifling. According to the serial number, this rifle would have been manufactured in early 1949.
