Springfield M1 Garand 1942 CMP .30-06 Springfield

This is a used M1Garand rifle purchased through CMP years ago. The receiver serial number dates it to 1942. All visible parts appear to be marked with Springfield markings. The barrel was changed at some point and is dated '45. The original stock was replaced with a Boyds aftermarket walnut stock. The bore is clean and bright with no visible pitting. There is minimal throat and muzzle erosion. The exterior shows finish wear on all parts with little to no finish left on the barrel and receiver. The stock shows only light marking from use and storage. A sling and reproduction zippered carry case are included with the rifle.
