Colt Cobra .38 Special

Revolver offered is a Colt Cobra, First Model; done in .38 Special. The gun is in very solid condition. The Cobra was a double action/single action aluminum alloy framed revolver which pretty much mirrored the venerable steel framed Detective Special. The aluminum alloy frame allowed for a lighter weight revolver thereby adding comfort for prolonged carry. Mechanically, the piece is in excellent condition.
The cylinder times, indexes and locks up nicely. Both single and double actions function properly. The cylinder charge holes are clean and straight with no evidence of corrosion. The bore is mirror bright with pronounced rifling with nice sharp edges which will engrave the bullet quite nicely.
