Here's a great item for the advanced collector! This is a genuine, early production DWM Model 1902 Luger Carbine!
The grips, forend, and buttstock are in very good condition, never sanded or refinished. The checkering is in good shape all around and there are no cracks in the wood. The stock is in very good overall condition with normal handling wear and a tiny chip to the bottom/right of the attaching iron. The original horn buttplate is in very good overall condition. This highly collectible firearm is in perfect working order and has an excellent, bright/sharp bore! It comes with two correctly non-numbered magazines with folded nickel plated bodies and wood bases. This very cool firearm comes with some fantastic extras which include a vintage fitted takedown case, a FULL period correct box of carbine-specific DWM ammunition, and various tools. The black leather covered case carries a small metal tag which is marked "NOLTE & OLSON/4701 THIRD ST.-S.F." The case has two latches as well as a sliding catch that appears to be lockable (sorry, no key). The interior of the case is lined in blue velvet and has compartments for the pistol, stock, box of ammunition, cleaning rod (likely a reproduction piece), and various tools which include a loading tool, punch, oiler and grease pot. The case is in very good condition with some normal wear from use but no abuse. The full box (50 rounds) of 7,65 Parabellum carbine ammunition which is included is quite rare.
Full boxes of this ammunition are very scarce (and expensive!). This box is in good overall condition
