This revolver features a 5-shot capacity, making it a reliable choice for personal protection or target shooting. The double-action trigger ensures quick and accurate shots. These 1st and 2nd model revolvers were made for Black powder cartridges.
Condition: 3” raised rib barrel with a good bore showing very minor spot pitting from black powder use and still retains very good rifling. The metal of the revolver still retains about 98% of its original nickel finish with some minor surface scratches and handling marks. The original owl monogramed black checkered hard rubber grips are in very good condition with only minor wear and scratched numbered to the gun. The top-strap markings remain crisp and legible. Despite its age, this revolver is in very good condition and has been well-maintained. It has a smooth action , barrel to frame fit is tight with good timing and lock-up. It's a super nice looking addition to any antique firearm collection or for those who appreciate a classic piece of history and historically significant firearm from the late 19th century.
