Here is a very early serial number example from approx 1966. I inherited this from my father. I don't believe he ever shot it. And I never shot it. It was one of his safe queens and then one of mine. Only one magazine. But those original mags can be had if you want to fill the slots in the box. I never got around to it. The Smith & Wesson Model "41" pistol is one of the best if not best 22 semi they made. And this is the RIGHT era. The serial number is: 75835. This has the original box and manual. This early variant has the cocking indicator on the back of the slide and also features the serrated and bead blasted top strap to eliminate glare along your sight plane. This example features the desired 5.5" heavy barrel. All original finish. Sweet trigger.
These 41's were created to go right from the box to the competition field.
This is a great addition to your collection of Smiths, 22 target pistols or for your shooting pleasure.
