Norinco Chinese SKS Type 56 7.62x39

Chinese SKS Type 56 7.62X39 Semi-Auto rifle. Right rear of receiver says Made in China by Norinco 7.62X39 Sporter B West Tucson AZ (all in fine print). Left side of receiver has number 26 in triangle for Jianshe armory along with SN and 3 chinese characters. Rear sight has the upside down U symbol for what I understand is a Russian part. Screw in barrel has # 26 stamped on it. SN's do not match. Magazine, rear receiver cover and trigger assy match, bolt has a different #, also receiver has a different #. The stock is in fair condition and has been refinished. A 1 inch to 1 1/4 inch crack on the left side of the receiver has been repaired with glue and a steel pin ( seems to be stable), also groove at bottom front of stock for the bayonet has been lengthened to accomodate a spike bayonet, rather than the original blade type. Bore looks very good. Spike bayo and clean kit for buttstock included. Has a canvas sling.
