The bores are bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. This rifle looks an awful lot like the Savage Model 24, and preceded it. These are the greatest utility guns of all time and are frequently referred to as meat guns. This gun will feed and defend the family, drop birds out of the sky and even rabbits from a little ways away. All this from one gun!
