On consignment from the Estate and collection of a longtime Hunter/Shooter/Collector I have the above 12 Gauge Semi-automatic Shotgun. This shotgun is labeled as “Tactical” and I guess the shorter barrel, stealthy matte black polymer stock and light weight of this firearm qualify it as such. Comparing this shotgun to other 1301 Beretta Tactical shotguns shows that the magazine is shorter than others pictured leading me to believe that the shell capacity is around 5 shells as opposed to 7. The rifle sights similar to military sights are interesting. The stock does not have a pistol grip as found on many of the other tactical Beretta shotguns. The trigger is crisp and the sight picture is excellent. With slugs I imagine this shotgun would be outstanding. Beretta makes a quality product and this firearm shows that. While used and kept loaded in a closet for a number of years, this firearm is in very good condition and without a doubt, this very nice firearm will serve its ultimate owner with a lifetime of powerful and accurate service.
