Browning SUPERPOSED PIGEON GRADE VERY NICE SHAPE W/ CASE 20GA

Here's a beauty! This is a Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade Skeet that was manufactured by FN in Belgium in 1967. It wears 28-inch vent-rib barrels with two white beads and is chambered for 2-3/4" 20-gauge shells. It has a single-selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a non-automatic safety. Features include the silver grey finished receiver with a pair of pigeons and scroll work engraved on each side. The underside of the receiver, trigger guard, and tang feature additional scroll and floral engraving. Overall condition is excellent. The receiver rates about 98% with only very light handling wear. The barrels are in excellent condition also with 98% of their original blue finish as well. There is no rust or any pitting and the gold finish on the trigger is 95%. The stocks are also in excellent shape. The buttstock is of the round knob, short tang (RKST) configuration and the forearm is of the standard field type, as is correct for a Skeet gun of this period.
The checkering is in excellent shape. There is no indication that this is a salt wood gun. It is fitted with a Browning pad and LOP measures 14-3/8". Drop @ Comb measures 1-1/2" and Drop @ Heel measures 2-1/4". Weight is 6-pounds, 8.5-ounces. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bores are excellent, bright with no dents, corrosion or any issues. It comes with the original instruction booklet and a Browning fitted luggage case which is also in very good shape. A lovely gun that would be a joy to own, display and shoot!
