This is an unreadable manufactured pepper box gun from the civil war era ther is a manufactures name on it -OU- ALL ,I cant make out the other letters. It is a percussion cap, ball and powder, pistol. If features very nice engraving around the receiver, trigger guard and hammer. The pistol overall finish is in decent shape, grips are nice and mechanically the pistol functions well. he cylinder catches slightly on one percussion nipple, all of which appear in good shape.
