A scarce and very fine Winchester Model 1887 shotgun. Made in 1890. 10 gauge. 2-7/8", 32" barrel. The choke measures I/C. This is one of the nicest 87s I have ever owned. These are rarely found in this nice state of preservation. The gun has not been messed with at all. The receiver is a nice untouched silver/mottled original case coloring with some old wear and patina. Some case color is still vibrant. The barrel and magazine are a nice original plummy bluing with light wear. The action is very crisp and cycles well. The bore has scattered pits, above average for one of these though. The butt stock and forend are free of cracks and have original varnish.
Ships fully insured and will be packaged very well.
