Here we have a Marlin model 1894 lever action rifle. It is an antique built in the first year of production in 1894. It is chambered in .44-40 Winchester Center Fire with a 24 inch barrel.
The stock features a straight grip and crescent buttplate. The barrel is an octagon contour with factory front and rear sight. The finish on the rifle is original and has aged into a nice patina.
The wood shows no large structural cracks and fits nicely to the metal. The action functions as it should. The bore is clean
