This is a Hopkins & Allen XL Bulldog model large, solid frame revolver with pull pin cylinder release probably mfg. late 1880's-early1890's.
Action seems to work as it should in single or double action, lock up seems good & good trigger return spring. Bore looks shiny, good rifling, maybe some slight erosion.
Poor grips, folding part of hammer looks like a replacement.
