J. Stevens & Co. Tip-Up Single Shot Rifle. These rifles were first introduced in the 1870s and manufactured until about 1895. This one dates prior to the company name change in 1886. It is mechanically fine and in very fine condition with original finish and minor wear. The caliber is not marked but it appears to be 42 caliber.
