Colt Heritage Commemorative 1847 Walker .44 Cal. 9 Inch Walnut Cased 1980

This is a “NEW OLD STOCK” Colt Walker 1847 “The Heritage Commemorative” Limited Edition. This revolver # 1615 of 1850, is a part of Colts Black powder Series, a collection designed to honor the historic firearms that played a pivotal role in shaping American history.

This revolver comes un-fired in its original serial numbered box. It has its deluxe walnut presentation case. The case has a black velvet interior and a lower compartment with key lock. There is a hard bound book un-opened of the history of the Colt Walker included. We even have the original shipping box that it was shipped in from 1980. All of the paperwork is included.

The Walker Heritage has these markings: (1) left side of barrel flat is marked “The Colt Heritage Commemorative”. (2) Left side of receiver is marked: C COMPANY No 1615”. (3) The right side of the barrel flat is marked: “U.S. / 1847” with gold inlayed busts of Samuel Colt and Samuel Walker. (4) The top of the barrel is marked: “ADDRESS.SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY”. (5) The cylinder is marked: “COLTS PATENT”, C-COM-Y No.1761”.
The cylinder is fully engraved with a battle scene. (6) The bottom of the grip is marked: “C COMPANY No 1615”. (7) Bottom of the frame and trigger guard are marked: C COMPANY / NO1615”.
