his Eddystone Model 1917 is in nice shape for being almost 100 yrs old. At some point it was Arsenal Refurbished at the Augusta Arsenal and is marked accordingly.
The lands are bright & the grooves are semi bright. The rifling is sharp & deep. There is no erosion. The bore shows an M.E. of 0.8.
The rifle has nice markings on the metal & wood and its bore is strong & bright. This rifle will add to a Military Collection and should be fun to shoot.
