Steyr Mannlicher Model M Full Stock Carbine

Here's a super clean Steyr Mannlicher Model M carbine! This sweetheart is chambered for the .30-06 Springfield and has the 20" hammer forged barrel known to be superbly accurate and very tough/long lasting. The barrel is equipped with a standing rear sight and hooded bead up front. It has the flat "butter-knife" bolt handle and a round bolt with rear lugs that glides smoothly in the receiver. The sliding safety is conveniently located for right handed thumb operation and there is a cocking indicator that protrudes from the rear of the contoured bolt shroud when the rifle is ready to go. The single trigger is adjustable but already has a crisp, light pull. The stock is the full length "Mannlicher" style with factory swivels, steel nose cap, and factory pad. It also features a detachable 5-shot rotary magazine with clear rear window that allows for an easy round count.
This rifle is in outstanding condition and appears very close to new.

There is no rust or any pitting. There are no U.S. import markings on the rifle although there is a small "SILESIA" stamp on the left side of the receiver ring which I believe was the trademark of a large German importer in the Hanover area of central Germany. The oil finished stock is in excellent condition, free of any significant wear. There are no dings, dents, scratches, cracks or chips...just super clean.

The rifle functions perfectly and has an excellent, bright bore. It appears to be virtually unfired! It comes with the worn box (there is no interior liner) and includes the original instruction sheet (the front is a little bug eaten), original factory test target, trigger guard, and two magazines. The proof marks on the receiver, barrel and bolt show that this carbine was manufactured back in 1973. This is a really nice one folks!!
