Winchester Model 70 Classic Bolt Action Hunting Rifle .30-06 Springfield

This is a Winchester Model 70 Classic Featherweight Stainless hunting rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 22” barrel, jeweled bolt with a knurled knob and a beautiful sharply checkered stock with smooth curled patterns running through the checkering. The rifle is in about Excellent condition with a bright bore and very light wear in the rifling. The .30-06 Springfield cartridge is a very versatile flat shooting cartridge that can be used on everything from varmints up to elk with the correct loading, and makes an excellent deer cartridge. With its nice bore and great looks, this is going to make someone a great all-around rifle, and with its stainless-steel finish, should do a great job of withstanding the elements. Bear in mind that this rifle was made without sights, and you will have to add a scope: the good news is that the receiver is already drilled, tapped and filled for mounts, so you don’t have to worry about drilling holes.
