Here's a nice Colt Government Model Series 70 pistol that is factory finished in bright nickel. Chambered in .45 ACP, this pistol is completely original with with no aftermarket parts or modifications. It still has the original Series 70 barrel with collet style "finger" bushing. The sights, trigger, hammer, grip safety, etc are all factory original.
The condition is quite good and I'd grade this pistol at about 95% overall. There are a few small handling marks, some tiny "trigger shoe dimples" to the right side of the trigger, and a couple of very tiny dark freckles including a tiny rust spot hidden under the right grip (see photos). The checkered walnut grips have gold Colt medallions and are in very good condition. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. It comes with one 7-round factory magazine, the original box (which numbers to the gun), a 1981 dated owner's manual, and miscellaneous factory paperwork.
According to the serial number, this good looking pistol was manufactured in 1977.
