This is a Steyr Mannlicher Model M Luxus sporting rifle. It is chambered in .270 Win. and has a beautiful fiddleback patterned checkered walnut stock, it is in need of some TLC, but we can look past the patches of lacquer finish loss and bumps scattered throughout. A skilled woodworker could make this a beautiful hunting rifle again. The .270 Win. Cartridge is a very versatile flat shooting cartridge that can be used on everything from varmints up to elk with the correct loading, and makes an excellent long range antelope cartridge. With its exceptional Austrian quality and great all-around chambering, we think this would make the perfect rifle for the person who wanted the ultimate in all-around hunting rifle.
